Apple introduces the Macintosh SE/30
19th January 1989 Apple launched the Macintosh SE/30 on 19th January 1989. The Macintosh SE/30 has a built-in hard drive, 128Kb of RAM, a 1.4Mb floppy that can read PC disks, and is powered with a Motorola 60030 CPU. It was the fastest and most expandable of the original black-and-white compact Macintosh series, and has been described as the best computer Apple will ever make. Related information:
